I’m proud to say that both Dance Spirit and Dance Studio Life are carrying articles of mine this month! Read up on storytelling through tap and a great tap outreach program in Miami.
On Friday, May 2, I will be in New York City performing alongside a variety of dance talent with the Choreographer’s Canvas at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. If you haven’t yet, come see my percussive basketball piece, “Ball Change”!
You can also see that routine at SomerVaudeVille in, of course, Somerville, MA, on Wednesday, May 14 at 8:30 p.m. I’ll also be performing my solo poetry piece, “When Push Comes to Shove,” and the evening promises a wide array of local talent. Get your tickets now and join me at Johnny D’s in Davis Square.
If, by then, you still haven’t seen “Ball Change,” look for it in Heart and Sole, an evening of dynamic dance duos I am producing at Arlington‘s Regent Theatre on Sunday, May 18. This evening, rescheduled from its snowed-out February debut, will feature tap, hip-hop, classical Indian, ballet, contemporary, and more. It’s one show only, so find a date and come dance with us!
