It’s a new year, and it’s also National Choreography Month — I’ll be creating a new piece this month to present in early February for Boston’s NaChMo celebration. But before that….
I’m presenting some of my favorite pieces as part of “Stam-Pede,” an exciting percussive dance showcase at NYC’s Symphony Space on Sunday, January 12th at 3 p.m. Join me and some other great tap, flamenco, and body percussion dancers as part of the annual APAP conference. Tickets are only $15!
The following weekend, I’ll be entertaining crowds at the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market in Cambridge, MA, from 10:30-11:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th. Some other local tap dancers will join me for a fun morning of choreography and improvisation. Admission is free (but tips are appreciated!).
Then, it’s back to Manhattan to present work for Ready or Not!, a choreography series at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th. Tickets are just $13 for an evening of new contemporary work.
And — it’s not too late to sign up for any of my tap classes at Boston University for the spring semester! Classes begin on January 15th. See my previous post for information.
Happy New Year!
