If you missed the premiere of my new basketball piece at last month’s Massachusetts Dance Festival, you have a few chances to catch it soon!
I’m performing as part of Soaking W.E.T., a rhythm dance showcase at NYC’s West End Theater curated by David Parker & The Bang Group, Thursday through Sunday, October 10-13. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. Thurs-Sat and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. I’m excited to perform with such a talented cast!
The basketballs will also make an appearance when I present 2 pieces as a guest artist with Cambridge Dance Company for their fall concert, “Second Nature”! The show is Friday, October 25 at 8:00 p.m. at The Dance Complex in Central Square, and I look forward to performing for a new audience.
And, speaking of new audiences: Boston-based hoofer Suzanne Bouffard and I have formed Ostinato, a new group of tap dancers and jazz musicians that will performing monthly at The Lily Pad in Cambridge. Our inaugural outing is Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m., and we hope you will join us for the magic of live dance and music!
