This month is certainly coming in like a lion, as it’s bound to be an exciting one for dance! In just a few weeks, I’ll be performing with my hometown dance studio in The Dance Inn‘s 30th annual recital, S’Wonderful! I’ll be debuting some new choreography as well as dancing with studio faculty and alumni and longtime teacher and friend Kelly Kaleta. I’ll also be performing some brilliant Billy Siegenfeld/Jeannie Hill choreography, as well as debuting a special new solo. The show is March 24 & 25 at Lexington High School in Lexington, MA. Get your tickets now!
As the show approaches, I’ll also be rehearsing for my appearance next month in the Gallatin Arts Festival at New York University, as well as Dorrance Dance‘s first full-length concert at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA in May. Check my Schedule page for more details on those exciting spring performances!
I’m also teaching some guest classes in New England this month. I’ll be with New Hampshire’s Sole City Dance on March 25, as well as Boston Percussive Dance on March 31st. If you’re an Adult Beginner tap dancer, that Boston class is for you! Come check it out!
On the journalism front, I was very fortunate to have a two-part special feature on the Kodak bankruptcy in recent issues of NYU’s Washington Square News. You can read Part 1 and Part 2 online now. I also finished a new article for Dance Spirit, which will appear in the upcoming May/June issue.
See you on the dance floor!
